Anthology - RDG 361 Original Works
While each of the author's below have written compelling and animated pieces, let me especially encourage you to read Christine Hagaman's. Chris, a mother of teens/tweens, unhesitatingly and unapologetically takes us into that teen/tween world that mixes great urgency with great hilarity in Mystery on Gulf Shores, Alabama. More than the story itself, she gives us insight into her brand of mothering, where understanding and respecting the world inhabited by your kids is a great virtue. But it doesn't stop there; if the story makes you wonder, "so, just what is a mongoose anyway?" Chris has the answer for you in her informational work on ... Mongooses! Chris is herself naturally curious about the science of the world, and understands how to make a possibly arcane subject approachable. Go ahead and upgrade your notion of a mongoose, it'll make the mystery story even goofier! You can't help but learn no matter towards which of her stories you turn! | |
