The Ballad of Alicia with the Big Mouth
Here is the story of a happy little girl who was called Alicia de la Boca She could talk, sing, cry and laugh with a loud voice Enough to drive her friends insane One sunny day her friends were playing outside having a quiet little tea party when Alicia came near they told her with sassy attitude she could not play with them Alicia had heard this many times before and was sad that her voice was so unique She decided to pray to God Most High to take away her tongue so her friends would like her As she started to walk back quietly to play A coyote, large and white she did see Wanting to do great harm to the tea party It silently growled and approached to eat Alicia wanted to warn her friends she started with her voice to scream an alarm but she found she could not cry a word for she had asked God that her voice be disarmed She stopped in her tracks, she thought of her friends Her focus no longer on just what she wanted She asked that God would allow her just once To have a voz with a glorious volume With no further thought she let loose a scream That pealed through the neighborhood with the boom of a thunder Her friends arose and ran quickly inside And her father used his gun the right way Alicia with the Big Mouth learned a lesson That God has given her a big voice as a gift It was part of what made her so special to him And now all her friends thought that she was so cool That she could talk to them all day long ... even when was annoying. |
